Additional Education Teachers
The Additional Education team consists of teachers who fulfil various roles, such as Reading Recovery and English as an Additional Language instruction. These teachers offer extra teaching to pupils with additional educational needs through several methods, including assessing and documenting the pupil’s needs and progress, as well as establishing specific, time-bound goals for each pupil in agreement with the class teacher. They provide support either within the classroom (in-class support) or in a separate room (either individually or in a group). Parental consent is obtained before an additional education teacher begins providing support.

Additional Needs Assistants
Additional Needs Assistants (ANAs) are specialised adult support staff in schools who assist children with additional needs and significant care requirements, including help with feeding, toileting, or medication. This support enables these pupils to attend school, minimises classroom disruptions, and aids in the development of their independent living skills. ANAs are allocated to schools based on the collective needs profile and typically support multiple children.

In-School Leadership & Management Team
The In-School Leadership & Management Team comprises a group of Assistant Principals who work in collaboration with the Principal & Deputy Principal, sharing responsibility for a range of roles integral to the leadership, administration, and management of the school, including teaching and learning, leading school development (including curriculum development), pupil support, well-being, special education, digital technology, sports and planning for inclusion. Each postholder is assigned key areas of responsibility that are reviewed annually.
